inspirations..

I have been meaning to write this post for ohh so long...Inspirations..What inspires us. So many things inspire me from the rusty to the well worn, antiques, hunting treasures, sunrises, rainbows, bird song...artists like Alexander Calder, jewelers like Amy Hanna, Alexandra Goddard, and books like Cold Connections, Rejuvenated Jewels, Latin American decorative arts, Mexico, France, Spain and Argentina...Oh so much of the world umfurls to awaken our sense of creativity...Thanks to everything that inspires me...What inspires you?

A place where snakes dance to the ramba, spanish guitar music lurks around the corner...birds sing in chorus, and cactus blooms amass with color along a dusty desert floor....welcome to the desert where sustainability, and creativity is a way of life...won't you join me?

This blog is my visual journal. It is the only way to reflect my short attention span, constant need for change, and the flow of nature from season to season which affects me on a grande scale. There will be four distinct themes running somewhat with the seasons, with my jewelry, designs, art, and workshops each is unified by a color palette, textures, and a cultural or historical framework.
