Naturalist art work

there is something so wonderful, innocent, and truly inspiring about naturalist illustration. It makes us see the smallest, tiniest things in a new light. It is also wonderful drawing practice and a perfect outdoor activity for parents with  their children.  Collect yourselves, a picnic blanket, a boxed lunch and head off into the woods, desert. lake, seashore...your back yard for that matter, bring a pencil or charcoal and just have fun...here is some inspiration.
